note: Enrolment to the Perfumery Art School UK COURSE PROGRAMS does not authorise registered students to work in the UK NOR TO OBTAIN A VISA TO THE UK ON GROUNDS THAT YOU ARE STUDYING ONLINE. PLEASE SEE SECTION 5 BELOW.

Eligibility Criteria & Pre-requisites


To be accepted to any of our courses, you need to meet the following criteria and requirements (Click on + for details):
1.complete the Application form online
Acceptance of registration and enrolment to a course starting date is subject to confirmation of admission by the school committee and to availability of tutor(s) at the time. For quality purposes, we do not accept more than 12 students at each new session.  No payment is required until admission has been confirmed.
2. we accept applicants who are 16 years old or over
The course is currently available in English language only. The student should be able to understand, read and write English to a minimum of GSCE level C/ESOL level 3 and aged of at least 16 years old at the time of registration.
A basic knowledge of chemistry to GCSE standards can be useful if you are studying perfumery but is not required.  Applicants should also show some basic knowledge of functional skills (maths) including calculation of percentages and ratios due to the importance of maths in perfumery. NOT SURE ABOUT YOUR LEVEL OF MATHS? Please visit www.mathsisifun.com to review your basic maths.
3. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO understand, read and write English to a minimum of GCSE level C, ESOL level 3,
IELTS level 3 or at A level, degree level or mother-tongue level
A proficiency test might be required at enrolment for those students who do not meet the minimum levels. NOT SURE ABOUT YOUR LEVEL OF ENGLISH?  Take the Cambridge General English test here.
4. YOU WILL NEED To have completed our medical questionnaire and non-liability form prior to starting the course.
even though you learn at a distance, you are going to manipulate essential oils and aromatic raw materials. so that your tutor can guide you as to which oils you might not be able to use for health reasons, a short medical questionnaire is required to be completed prior to starting the course. please be assured that this questionnaire remains fully confidential and your personal data are not shared with any other party.
if you feel uncomfortable with it, please only complete the non-liability form and tell your tutor if you have any medical conditions or treatments that may affect your ability to use some aromatic materials.
5. All nationalities are accepted. However students' kits are CURRENTLY not shipped to countries outside the uk and the eu, due to THE BURDEN OF customs regulations.
  • it is important to note that Enrolment at the Perfumery Art School UK does not authorise registered students to work in the UK.
  • The school does not give sponsorship for obtaining a visa in the UK or any EU country as our courses are online.
  • Students wishing to attend the optional practical workshops and courses in the UK or in any of our partners’ countries will be required to make their own visa arrangements THROUGH THE RESPECTIVE EMBASSIES OR CONSULATES.
6. have access to a computer and the Internet with a working connection and up-to-date broadband speed.
The course is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds and from all over the world who have access to a computer and the Internet with a working connection and up-to-date broadband speed. It will be assumed that the candidates have a minimum understanding of using a computer, IT settings and computer configuration such as Browser settings.

The student should be fully aware that all our courses (except classroom-based workshops) are delivered solely ONLINE through our secured platforms. Those parts of the courses that are available in PDF cannot be downloaded nor printed. Therefore, prospective students will need to ensure that their Internet settings are fully functional and that they are sufficiently acquainted with modern technology tools for everyday use.

No printed copy will be sent or emailed under any circumstances.
