ENROLMENT

Enrolment information

To be accepted to any of our courses, you need to meet the following criteria and requirements:

  • To have completed and returned your Application form online or to have gone through the interview process (if and when applicable)
  • To be 16 years old or over
  • To be able to understand, read and write English to a minimum of GCSE level C, ESOL level 3, IELTS level 3 or at A level, degree level or mother-tongue level
  • To show some basic knowledge of maths calculation such as percentages, ratios and weighing materials.
  • To have completed our medical questionnaire and non-liability form prior to starting the course.
  • All nationalities are accepted. However students' kits are not shipped to certain countries due to customs regulations. This will be notified to the prospective student prior to completing their registration.

  1. There is no experience or previous qualifications in perfumery required for enrolment on our courses. A basic knowledge of chemistry to GCSE standards can be useful if you are studying perfumery but is not required.  Applicants should also show some basic knowledge of functional skills (maths) including calculation of percentages and ratios due to the importance of maths in perfumery. NOT SURE ABOUT YOUR LEVEL OF MATHS? Please visit www.mathsisifun.com to review your basic maths.

  2. Acceptance of registration and enrolment to a course starting date is subject to confirmation of admission by the school committee and to availability of tutor(s) at the time. For quality purposes, we do not accept more than 5 students at each new session.  No payment is required until admission has been confirmed. Please first complete the Application form online.

  3. In order to assess your objectives and motivation and ensure that you are serious about studying perfumery, you may be required to go through a screening process via an interview on Skype or telephone - after you completed and returned your application form.

  4. The course is currently available in English language only. The student should be able to understand, read and write English to a minimum of GSCE level C/ESOL level 3 and aged of at least 16 years old at the time of registration. A proficiency test might be required at enrolment for those students who do not meet the minimum levels. NOT SURE ABOUT YOUR LEVEL OF ENGLISH?  Take the Cambridge General English test here.

  5. The course is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds and from all over the world who have access to a computer and the Internet with a working connection and up-to-date broadband speed. It will be assumed that the candidates have a minimum understanding of using a computer, IT settings and computer configuration such as Browser settings.

  6. The student should be fully aware that all our courses (except classroom-based workshops) are delivered solely ONLINE through our secured platforms. Those parts of the courses that are available in PDF cannot be downloaded nor printed. Therefore, prospective students will need to ensure that their Internet settings are fully functional and that they are sufficiently acquainted with modern technology tools for everyday use. No printed copy will be sent or emailed under any circumstances.

  7. Any medical known condition such as allergy, high blood pressure or recurrent migraines must be stated during enrolment. The school administrator reserves the right to require a medical certificate before accepting a registration to the course

  8. IMPORTANT NOTE! Enrolment at the Perfumery Art School UK does not authorise registered students to work in the UK. The school does not give sponsorship for obtaining a visa in the UK or any EU country as our courses are online. Students wishing to attend the optional practical workshops and courses in the UK or in any of our partners’ countries will be required to make their own visa arrangements through the British, EU or associated Embassy/Consulate of the visiting country when the workshop takes place outside of the UK.
