Memorable Practical Experiences of Discovery of the Art of Perfumery
covid-19 and lockdowns put an end to our regular workshops and field trips. we are hoping to offer at least one experiential bootcamp in 2024.
our practical and masterclasses allow the learner to practice what they learn in the online course programs and the layman to get a feel of the industry. our training always take place with small groups of no more than 12 people and articulated around a specific theme. past worshops included:

- art of arabian perfumery in andalucia, spain (2016)
- intensive course in art of french perfumery in york, uk- focus on chypre perfumes (2017)

Private Events for groups of individuals or Corporations
we can organise day masterclasses for private groups of individuals or corporations who would like to offer some fun to their employees as a reward for hard work or as a motivational bootcamp. these take place at the client's venue and can be worked around a specific theme if needed.
They require 3 months notice in order for us to organise and identify the best tutor for the class. the quoted fee includes all materials and accessories on the day.

Terms and Conditions for Workshops and Bootcamps
- All our workshops & practical courses are delivered in a perfume atelier environment with real perfumers’ organs sitting up to 2 students per organ and by professional and qualified perfumers with years of experience and established in the industry to give you a genuine experience of the Art of perfumery. Our tutors are all experienced and established perfumers. Because the maximum of participants per session is limited to 12, it makes it possible to offer semi-individual tutor sessions.
- All materials are included in our prices. Course handouts will be made available for the course as well as a perfumer note book with compliments of the school. You are allowed to take written notes but we do not accept the use of a laptop/tablet for taking notes except if required for the purpose of the lesson nor do we allow audio recording during our courses. Mobile phones should also be switched off during the course(s).
- The Certificate of completion for those courses will be sent by post within 6 weeks of the course completion.
- Participants with a serious medical condition, particularly respiratory conditions, should inform the school prior to registering so that we may assess your ability to take one of our courses due to the handling of raw materials. We are sorry but we cannot accept pregnant women during our courses. Please note that some venues do not have wheelchair access.
- The minimum age for registering at any of our workshops is 18 years old. The courses are mostly delivered in the English language. Depending on the demand for a particular language, an interpreter can be made available.
- The school reserves the right to cancel any of the scheduled sessions or training courses if the minimum of 5 participants has not been met. Notification will be given in advance and participants will be offered the opportunity to get a refund, reschedule or cancel.
- When joining our course programs, you accept our Terms and conditions.
- IMPORTANT information ! The school does not get involved in any circumstances with documentation or letters of invitation required to obtain a visa to the course hosting country. The invoice or the confirmation of attendance will serve as a proof of your stay or visit in the hosting country and should be presented to the consulate. Our short courses can be taken under a tourist visa in most European countries. The school cannot be made liable for any expenses or damages caused by the rejection of a visa application.
- CANCELLATION POLICIES FOR WORKSHOPS & TRAINING COURSES
- 90 days before the course start date: no cancellation fee
- 30-60 days before the course start date: 20% of net price
- 21-60 days before the course start date: 50% of net price
- 1-21 days before the course start date: 100% of net price
You may transfer your course booking to any person of your choice provided you notify us in writing, including the name, address and contact details of the beneficiary.
CLAUSE OF NO OBLIGATION
- In case of cancellation, please ensure that notification is given to us within the cancellation timeframe stated above and that you understand our Terms and conditions for cancellation.
- The School shall not be made liable for any expenses or damages incurred due to late notice of cancellation.
- The School will give priority to newly enrolled participants and will be under no obligation to propose an alternative date to the participant having cancelled at the last minute and will only do so at its own discretion and if any place becomes available at the last minute.
- For residential workshops, the alternative date will only relate to the course itself in case of cancellation. Any fees paid in advance for the accommodation and meals will be retained.
- We strongly advise that you subscribe to a Travel and/or Medical insurance when you join one of our residential courses or field trips. In some instances, travel and medical insurance will be required prior to accepting your participation.
