 - 7th to 18th April 2020 -

Picture

As part of the Perfumery Art School's vision to help people discover cultures of perfumery worldwide, Expedition curiosity owned by Bev Missing, ex-student of the school has put together a once in a lifetime perfumery tour in SA/Namibia. The tour is open to anyone interested in 'olfactive anthropology', African perfumery ingredients such as African myrrh (omumbiri), hyraceum and African wildlife and cultural immersion...

Bev Missing is the owner of a small travel company based near Cape Town in South Africa called Expedition Curiosity . She is also the founder, designer and product innovator and shareholder for a body and bath product brand called RAIN which has 32 retail stores – five in Ireland, one in New York , one in Namibia and 25 in South Africa. She is an ex-student of the Perfume School. She has authored a book and has travelled to 62 countries – some of them many many times.

Bev is putting together this once in a lifetime Perfume Safari tour to Cape Town and Namibia and is inviting us to join her as she takes us off the beaten path to discover an ancient tribal tradition of perfumery among the nomadic desert dwelling Himba tribe of northern Namibia.
